Vampire Diaries Series developers Kevin Williamson (who famously revitalized the slasher genre in the mid-1990’s with SCREAM) and Julie Plec found their groove and fans started to pay attention.
The Vampire Diaries Season 3 DVD picks up some time after the events of season two. Stefan’s (Paul Wesley) left Mystic Falls with Klaus (Joseph Morgan) as part of the deal he made with him to save his brother Damon’s (Ian Somerhalder) life. This season The Vampire Diaries introduces us to more characters than we’ve probably seen on the show before. Many of them come from Klaus’ side, including his sister, Rebecca (Claire Holt).
The Vampire Diaries dvd set 3 includes two behind-the-scenes featurettes. "Stefan’s Descent into Darkness" explains just that. The writers and cast discuss Wesley’s drastic character shift in Season 3. "The Original Vampires: The Beginning" recaps the origin story of the series’ first vampires. It includes a recap of their time on the show, a breakdown of who they are and interviews with the actors and writers.
After 2 seasons, I am still not 100% sure which of the brothers I liked more for Elena to end up with. I hate pathetic love triangles that you can obviously see which the lead character will have happily ever after with and that the 2nd guy is just a nuisance, but in this series you can feel the confusion of which one is better.
In the finale episode we see flashbacks of Elena in sophomore year, when her parents were alive and she was with Matt. She gets in a fight with Matt at a bonfire and her parents come to pick her up. That's the night they get in the car accident. This flashback is important to the end of the episode, but I'll come back to it later.
The show switches back and forth to the flashback of Elena's accident with her parents and her preset accident with Matt. Vampire Diaries Cheap DVDs Online wish you enjoy all the twists.
